Sweet Water Works for Kids, Young and Old: Learn about the importance of fresh water

Come on out and play while learning about the importance of fresh water! Connie Nye of Sweet Water Education Events Training will present a free program for the entire family. Using demonstration, song, game, and audience participation, you won’t even realize how much you are learning while having fun! And, if we’re lucky, you’ll get to meet some of our local water creatures (the really small ones!). Program will conclude with a reading of her children’s book Can He Keep It? that will be available for purchase after the program along with Connie’s other “Scrappy Crafter” products.

Instructor: Connie Nye is a recent transplant to Florida and has been an environmental educator for 4 decades, specializing in watershed education. This program is adapted from a successful 4th grade program on watershed science.
