Rooted Learning: Farm Days for Homeschoolers
Program Overview
Rooted Learning: Farm Days for Homeschoolers is a hands-on outdoor learning experience designed for elementary and middle school students and their families. Through guided farm activities, nature exploration, and interactive learning stations, students build meaningful connections to the land while learning about regenerative agriculture, sustainability, and mindful living.
More than a field trip, Rooted Learning is a 3-part immersive series where children learn through direct experience—planting, harvesting, observing, creating, and growing alongside their community.
Hosted at Sweetwater Organic Community Farm, this small-group program encourages curiosity, confidence, stewardship, and a deeper understanding of where food comes from.
