- Another Growing Season-We are on track for another
amazing season. The greenhouse is full and the fields are quickly filling
up. As season approaches we are busy planning the various events that
make our farm so special. For those of you eager to help, we are scheduling
working members orientations. We are also planning educational field
trip orientation for our elementary education program. And last but
not least, our annual kick off party, Planter's Ball and much more.
The details are listed below. So please check it out and get involved
in making this our best year ever. Together we will continue making
Sweetwater one of the most special things about living in the Tampa
Bay area.

- Sweetwater Pinellas-We are in the process opening
a satellite farm in the Clearwater/Largo area! The farm is currently
called Gateway Nursery, located at 6000 150th Ave N (near the Clearwater/St.
Pete airport), and is owned and operated by Pamela and Hank Sindlinger.
This satellite farm will offer our Pinellas- based members the option
of acting in a more sustainable manner by allowing them to pick up
fruits and vegetables that are grown locally and organically, right
in Clearwater - rather than driving across the Bay just to pick up
their weekly share of produce. We are asking our members who are interested
in being part of this new satellite operation to contact us immediately,
as there will be limited space in this first season. There is no additional
cost to be part of this opportunity - your pickup location will simply
switch to Gateway Nursery.
